Secrets, secrets everywhere

So real life kept me busy for a few and I wondered if I would have the interest to catch up on watching. Well, the drama has me surprised because neither the FL or the ML are doormats. Can we all heave a collective sigh of relief?

Loved that Vikrant would not budge on his dream even if Aish cried some crocodile tears and put tons of pressure on him. Loved that Mannat pushed back very calmly and told Aish she knew who spiked her coffee. Alright girlie!

Now, on to the main topic. Since neither of our leads are pushovers, what could put a pause on this love story? There has to be secrets that keep these two apart for sometime. What could it be?

Unlike other villains, Aish isn't fooling anyone. Pretty much everyone in this house knows she is a shark. She also doesn't have the kind of money to be a full demanding partner as she wishes to be. In that case, why is Vikrant letting this family be partners?

End of the day, business is about money and synergy. What is Aish bringing to the table that makes her a valuable partner to run a business with?

Neetu hates her. Ronnie is not stupid. Gagan is outright hostile. His mom makes snarky comments. FIL appreciates her hustle. Mala is ditzy but she knows her mom is not to be crossed. So what is the secret that ties these two families together when they don't necessarily really like each other? It can't be just gratitude. No one takes houseguests for so long just out of gratitude.... (Ofcourse in ITV, one's house is like hotel but let's pretend that writers are possibly writing out of some actual reality)

Aish unlike many ITV villains is having a lot of pushbacks. She isn't winning every battle and people are aware of her character. Aish isn't even pretending to be a nice person. There isn't a lot of trust in her except for FIL. In that case, what ace does she hold that makes her so confident she will get Vikrant and Malla together?

Neetu was also freaking out that others are all taking advantage of her son's hard work including Puneet and Aish. Ronnie exasperatedly said legally, if they are talking about inheritance, they know that Puneet would inherit. Why would he? What happened to Puneet's parents? Why isn't the business truly Vikrant's? What is the secret that Ronnie and Neetu are holding close? Why were they afraid of him coming to India?

Since Vikrant and Mala will likely get engaged or close to it, (as per ITV tropes), there has to be push that happens. Malla has no real romantic interest. She is just too scared to go against mommy dearest. So what will happen to have Vikrant agree or think about Malla in a romantic light? What could push Ronnie and Neetu to consider Malla?

What could those secrets be?? All wild, silly as well as serious guesses and theories welcome!

Vikrant is not Neetu and Ronnie's son and there seems to be some shady dealing wrt his adoption. We don't know yet but Neetu and Ronnie were legit scared at the mention of it. Puneet is a biological Saluja.

Malla is the third angle and she will go loony soon. All major characters have a good backstory which is developing.

ARS is not confident about the engagement hence the party and reporters to corner Vikrant and his parents. She is shrewd and cunning. There is a dialogue from her yesterday, V is rich and once you get married you will be settled and he will have to take care off you. This tells us so much about ARS's character.

Once she feels the punch in her guts from Vikrant, she is going to turn more deadly I feel.

Vikrant agreeing to partner with ARS is based on ARS's family helping Rony in the past I suppose. They are returning the favor while ARS is trying to swallow them and settle herself and her family.

Slogan I have been promoting, Vikrant and Malla are sibling coded based on the scenes so far and Vikrant will never agree to an engagement considering how stubborn and opinionated he is been shown far.

I am crossing my fingers that Malla will stay sane and just be her ditzy self. Her interactions with Vikrant are quite funny. Liked how he teased her that she will get a pimple if she lies and then said, "omo, what is that red spot on your face?"

I think it will be way more entertaining if Aish does not get a ready made puppet like she believes. I want a fun guy who will match Malla's energy and so it can be entertaining for us to see her rebel against Aish.

What I don't get about Aish is why is she so adamant about getting her own way. With some people, being pushy will only result in them pushing back -- that is Vikrant. Instead, if you want Vikrant in your pocket, you need to butter him up. For someone who claims she knows her way around people, she really doesn't have the skills needed to handle Vikrant and family.

It will be interesting to see her turn against Vikrant because this partnership is already fragile as is. She knows that he doesn't get as much from the deal as she does. Hence, he is the one who calls all the shots even though he is very polite. You can just see her getting ticked off that he isn't being an obedient puppy like Puneet. So if Puneet is real heir, then it is to her benefit because Puneet is more like her and listens to what she says and he can be easily manipulated. If Puneet is real heir, then it is not in her favour to pair Malla with Vikrant anyway. But yea, I can't see Vikrant agreeing to get engaged to Malla as neither give off potential vibe.

I get the feeling it is ARS who over estimates her skills since she was able to trap Gagan and her family. Vikrant from the get go is shown to be having a mind of his own though he is close to his parents and is not a push over.

ARS is going to get more desperate after the party fiasco since no way will Vikrant agree to this alliance and we will start seeing her fumble in her devious plans. Puneet's truth will be heartbreaking for Vikrant, but might get ARS off of Vikrant's back.

Unfortunately the show is inspired from a Turkish show and in that the Malla equivalent apparently goes nuts.

No, I didn't catch new promo. For once, I want a drama where two sisters are not fighting over the same man.

Spoilers, she does go crazy in the Turkish show but finally understands Vikrant is not meant for her and he can never love her 😂
