Ani overhearing all this means he is being teed up to clearly know Jhanak's stance....there is no ambiguity like before where he was shown unsure of Jhanak's nature and that is why he fell for the narrative that she can harm Arshi

Yes, it seems like Ani heard Arshi claiming ki hum pehle se hi kareeb hain blah blah.....lol Didi khud apna khulasa karne ko bahut eager lag rahi hai.

She is giving Ani enough fuel to burst out savagely one day and give her a reality check about kiska rishta/pyar tha bahut pehle se .....yeh khud hi apni beizzati karvaane ka intezaam karti hai.....lol

Looks like she will compel Ani to remind her that they never had a physical relationship....lol

Yes...going by the story updates, this track is basically to free Ani from didi ki ghulaami...he will teach her some much needed lessons..till that happens he will be kept quiet and will be made observant of both the sides, J as well as Arshi..

Ani ko bhi yeh sab dikha rahe hain so that he feels all the more sympathy for Jhanak rather than Naagin
