@Red- not only Kaveri but everyone else thought that she was dead. So now they will just assume that she was alive all these years but none of them was aware of this fact so Kaveri is not at fault.

They need to know that Kaveri was very much aware about Shivani's existence and her role in her disappearance for Madhav and Armaan to hate her. Which she herself mentioned during sangeet that if the truth comes out she'll lose Armaan and Madhav forever. Vidya barbaad ho jayegi. Rohit khud ko sambhal nahi payega
