🏏Champions Trophy: Prediction Game🏏

The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is just three days away as the mini World Cup returns after a hiatus of eight years. Pakistan, who won the Champions Trophy last time beating India in the final in 2017, is the hosts of this year's event!

Champions Trophy 2025 format

Eight teams have been divided into two groups of four teams each. In the group, all the teams will play against each other once. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the semifinal. The winners of the semifinal advance to the summit clash.

Now, the important question is--

Whether to have a forum based Prediction Game (P G)or not??!! Please post your interest in this thread.

Given Vijay's hectic schedule and the fast approaching IPL Prediction Game, let's plan a prediction game in an interesting and entertaining manner in our own way for this Champions trophy. Similar to how we did in the early years of the IPL game when participants sent out PMs with predictions to us!

After every game, we are planning to award the winner of that PG a winner siggy. The winner will receive a winner badge after the final.

Our main aim in conducting this PG is having fun while watching all these high drama matches!! Please express your interest in this thread.

Maybe submit a Google form with the same questions as the predictions, but with a Fill in the Blank.

Who will win POTM? ------

Who will get max wickets with good economy -----

- We can eliminate who won the toss question as we will know the team inclusions and exclusions only during the toss.

-Submissions done before 7:15 pm IST or so will only be considered.

These r just suggestions.

We'll make the prediction submissions as easy as possible. Don't forget, there is India Pak match on Feb 23rd! If possible, there will be more interactions between these highly competitive teams.

Yes PM is the best option.

Great idea Madhu di. Also, to attract more members we can do all participants who will participate in all matches will get badge?

And yeah google form is a good option . Coz some complain that they have issues with pm, sometimes der pm doesn’t get send or something so we can think of google form.

I might not be active in the discussions, but will surely participate in the game. I was really missing the prediction game.

How many matches in total? And when is the final?
