I would have sympathized with Virat if he didn’t keep comparing Patralekha’s “maturity” with Sai. I don’t like any of the gen 1 leads - sab ke sab bekaar, that said, if I was Sai I would be annoyed too. She had her flaws but the least an husband can do is stop comparing her with his ex - flame. That’s low. IPS kiya hai na ? Thoda toh akkal ko haat maarna chahiye tha.

Problem is Virat wanted to be there for everyone - female lead ki tarah, but practically you can’t be good for everyone. Usko Pakhi ki dil bhi nahi dukhana tha. Sai ke saath gul mil bhi jaana tha, he also wanted Sai to adjust to his “family” expectations but didn’t want her to feel uncomfortable / wanted her to feel the familial bond when most of them hated her - imagine. Ek train pakado bhai.

This does not mean Sai is justified or anything. Just that Virat is a hypocrite and doesn’t get to cry foul.

see in my defense i just find neil's character too cute and thats why make fun of him. Ps- i think it is a common conception of people that we call any guy with specs chomu looking and i have no issues with him behaving like the fl, I even said that this show has shown me the bahufication of param in 2025. Its just that sometimes he acts too clueless like when he accepted that he is a driver and didnt correct tejaswini and its kinda difficult for me to digest that a 30 year old mature doc has fallen so delulu in love that he cannot be with anyone else

Such softies & pookie MLs are rare thing on ITV- they came once in a blue moon I have a soft spot for Neil like characters. (but Ganja being Ganja will destroy it all)

Plus, mostly are watching it for Dr. Neil & Param...& Dr. Neil is being loved all the more because Param is elevating this character with his nuances & top-notch acting.

Exactly. Soft MLs without any traumatic backstory are so rare on ITV. As for him being awkward and mild, kucch flaws honge tabhi to character arc nikhar kar aayega. Pehle se hi perfect, assertive, rich ML banaa do fir bacha hi kya ML ko karne ke liye flowerpot banne aur heroine ko attitude dikhaane ke alaawa.

Vo samjha mere ko. Abhi his characterization is same as Ambi in movie Anniyan and Surinder Suri in RNBDJ otherwise no man in 30s writes an application letter along with his biodata to his crush's parents to propose her and keeps hugging his tiffinbox the whole day just because the lunch was prepared was his wife.

Ghum's MLs have already been trolled for being unfair to FL and mistreating them so this time they are deliberately making ML this naive so even if he changes after betrayal, audience may root for him.

I've only seen reels so jab bhi dekha, Chawhan house me hamesha manhoosiyat chaayi rehti thi and everyone had a miserable expression on their face and Kaku, Sayi, Patralekha were always shouting over each other so my observations were based on that only.
