For real though, that suicide pushing scene went on and on and on. It was uncomfortable to watch even if it was cleared up later that the pills were fake. I don’t blame her for telling him to just die when she realizes he’s trying to emotionally blackmail her but they focussed on the scene too much. In theory, I don’t take issue with the narrative. A guy who has victim mentality, never takes accountability and isn’t who he pretends to be , making fake threats to control those around him should be called out. The heavy focus on their conversation regarding the sleeping pills just made Sadaf look like a sadistic psycho. And then her showing sadness when he didn’t go through with it suggested that she really would have accepted it as a gesture of love.
