So looks like Apu ka woh singing function at the Doctor's event happened today and Ani went to attend that.

And they are making mention of Apu about to die soon and her asking the doctors around there if anyone can help her

Then our initial guess seems right....Apu ki treatment wala kuch angle laa rahe hain through these doctors and Lallon can use that excuse to keep Jhanak in BH that she is needed to take care of Apu.....repeat of initial reason/track when Jhanak came to BH and Apu ki caretaking karti thi.

This can be used as emotional blackmail excuse to make Jhanak stay there for a bit.

If you think of it, in all the Jhanak serial time, there is barely any interaction between Ani and his sisters except Appu. Instead of spending detail repetitive dialogues for example on Lallon's neighbors, they could have shown some organic relationships within the family. Some cool time. It is not a wholesome story telling. It is just that Krushi's acting and chemistry made it a significant serial.

I watched some clips from the Bengali version. Even the birthday eve was so thakela compared to Hindi. So maybe writer never intended for the "titular" character to be so attached to any male character, it is just that hindi leads took it to another level, surpassing the writer's POV. So now the writer is scrambling and not able to reconcile the viewers POV and the intended tale.

BTW yes the Bengali ML looks creepy, and he is capable of bigamy or EMA, which makes me think Krushal's acting deviated the story. In one of the IV he mentioned Anirudh idhar-udhar bhagta hai with disdain. In 1 yr IV Hiba mentioned "maybe they will mold the story for you, stay true to your work". so they were hoping for some better segments (lekin badle mein gobar uthvaya, even if it is fake gobar).

LOL yep bas lollipops hain....Bips always does dialoguebaazi but ghoom phir ke baat wahin ki wahin rehti hai.....AK proposal waali planning mein bhi bas 2 minutes ke liye Ani ka dimaag ghooma and phir waapis line pe and usual fussing over Jhanak.....lol baaki bhi faltu ki planning/plotting of this gang just to fill time.

Bas itna obvious hai is sabse ki J will be back in BH soon and yeh evil gang will resume torturing her and proving her a bad omen in the eyes of her supporters also....lol

LOL I'm glad Ani was spared the torture of just hanging around like a khamba for Mimi ki shaadi discussions.....

Only sister he has been shown deeply caring for is Apu di for obvious reasons....he has always been shown super detached from his immediate biological family....I don't think I've ever seen him even hugging Rumi/Mimi....lol and his parents toh khair kuch bolne laayak bhi nahin.

And totally agree....the script is totally crap without any investment in believable bonds or equations....only Krushi have managed to elevate the story with their acting/chemistry.
