Point understood. Answer to your questions it makes sense because writers typed it out... they still dont care to reference other episodes or apply basic logic.

Why should writers care when actors can rescue rubbish they write? Why should writers do better when fans say? "All itv shows are illogical or KMTMG is different." How they deliver different matters! & writers havnt delivered well. Reason for ratings not improved

Both we can assume to be still serving jail sentence even after 2 years leap, but both were kind of bankrupt before leap.

PS: Not an easy place to be in when you are compared with Virat all the time and are now pushed into something you will lose out again in. The actor / character though doesn't look like he will go negative. Abhir will def turn bad maybe not like the "villains" but ho sakta hai and it will give Mandira Ji something to do. But he should not as he knows Ammu sirf Virat ka hai warna 2 saal mein kyun kissi aur koh nahin chuni (just saying). Matlab kuch bhi dekha rahe hai yaar. But not surprising! They never learn from their mistakes so kyun characters karenge

Pehle BA ne kissi koh bana diya, Pri as an obsessed ex who came and ruined everything now with the help of Ammu (if I'm not lost with the fab plot, please enlighten me if so), Beer koh chadenge, bana denge grey!

But its forced to bring VA back together - one way or the other. Virat can act only when he has competition. It took Shubh for him to ultimately go ahead... or rather Ammu to notice his insecurity and go ahead. He needs an Abhir now... and may be its she who notices he needs an Abhir now. Could've brought in someone else - but same thing... someone else may seem more acceptable - they had to make sure it can only be VA - no other thought is encouraged.

Actually, they could have brought them back but with a completely new story even with a memory loss. They just have no inspiration. As said before they could've damage-controlled the part I with a better storyline, the story people expected in that previous part (Ammu vs Virat urf enemies to lovers). But unfortunately, they rushed on RA being V too fast!

Abhir does have a history of being compared with Virat... mandira has many times mentioed about Ammu being the cause of virats death and what she can thus mean for Abhir. He has to lose to Virat. What Bhavani and Dildaar have done is push him towards another failure where he will again come second best to Virat. Villain or suicide are the only options... unless he has it in him to hold himself. (Hopefully Ammu doesnt give him any false hopes.)
