What's the incentive to agree to the bankers' temptations?
See here's the thing. Your briefcase could contain anything from 1 point to 1000 points. At the beginning, you might be worried that your briefcase only has 1 point and so that risk averseness might lead you to taking the banker's offer. Over time, if some of the high points do get eliminated, then you'll get more worried and might take it.
Of course on the opposite side if the low points get eliminated, then you'll think you have high points and won't take it.
In either case, it'll literally be a you decision. The idea is that I can only tempt you as the Banker.
