Hope you enjoyed that round. The theme of that round was Food and Chemistry and is courtesy Shibani and Parm. Yes all ande, tamatar, and suing can be directed at them.
But also a big congrats to DiscoDhokla, Manny_123, and missFiesty_69 who scored a perfect this round!
Here are the answers to that lovely round (in no particular order).
1) The secret to fluffy bread is carbon dioxide gas, which is released by yeast during fermentation.
2) Adding sugar to your recipe makes cookies soft because it attracts water from the air.
3) Dark chocolate is considered healthy because it contains antioxidants, which act as a polyphenol in the body.
4) Fruits like bananas turn brown because of an enzyme called tyrosinase reacting with oxygen in the air.
5) Adding salt to boiling water raises its boiling point, making it easier to cook pasta.
6) The saffron grows from bulbs called corms and not from seed.
7) Peanuts grow underground and are the only legumes that can be eaten without first being cooked.
8) Chocolate is one of the few edible substances that melts just below the body temperature of the human body.
9) Cashews grow on trees and the pulpy part of the fruit is made into drinks, and sometimes even distilled into liquor.
10) When the onion is cut, a particular enzyme called alliinase is released which produces very volatile substances that literally make us cry.
11) There are over 300 types of pasta and the type depends on the length, the dough and the shape you want to give.
12) This seed contains myristicin, a neurotoxic substance which, in large quantities, causes hallucinations and convulsions.
13) Rhubarb is commonly used in pastry making but only the stalk of this plant is edible.
14) There are around 7,000 varieties of apples of different origins in various countries, and they differ in consistency, colour, and flavor.
15) Avocados are toxic to pets as the leaves, fruit and stone contain a toxin called persin.
Also do I get half the points on those questions because 2nd part is right?
Just now I asked the same question in the group.
SS pls reexplain if possible .

Ever watched this show? No. Well let's tell you about it. In Deal or No Deal, you play individually. When you get on stage, you have 26 briefcases in front of you which randomly contain monetary amounts listed on a board. You choose one briefcase and then you begin opening other briefcases and eliminating the amount on it from the board. After every few briefcases, a hidden banker gives you an offer to buy your briefcase off you based on the monetary amounts not crossed off yet. It is your choice to take the deal or not. If you reject the deal, you keep opening briefcases until all the briefcases are opened or until you take a future banker deal. If you don't take any offer by the banker, you go home with whatever amount was in your briefcase. Throughout the game, at any point, the host does offer you the chance to switch your briefcase with the briefcase you've just chosen.
We're going to play the same format here. Below is your board. You can see the various points that you could potentially win. At your chosen time slot, I will meet you on Discord or FB Messenger or IF PMs. You will take a briefcase number and then we will begin opening briefcases. In between, you will get an offer from the Banker to buy your briefcase off you for a certain number of points. You will have to decide if you want to take the offer or not. The Banker will make an appearance 3 times at most, so be very careful how you play this. Additionally, at any point I can give you the option to swap your briefcase with the one you chose. This will not happen with everyone. It will be random.
Note that not everyone will get the same points in each briefcase. I will randomly assign points to each briefcase from 1 through 26 per person. So if Hinna has 1000 points in briefcase 1, then Subha will have it in briefcase 20, and Parm in briefcase 3. There are a multitude of combinations for this game and there will be no repetition of exact order.
The aim is to end this round by Feb 10 11 PM IST. All the best!
Kuch samjha nahi, kal achhe se ek aur baar try karungi🫠
