Because every version of Abhira and Armaan will always love eachother.

That's the problem. Poddars are known for assassination of Ab character especially Vv and kv.

Divorce has not yet finalize so definitely it won't go well with ghatiya poddars if she dances with Rk. Even Ab shouldn't knowing her soon to be ex family is present. It will be awkward definitely.

who the F cares what Poddars think. Why should ABhira care about their reaction, their approval?

Things cannot be more awkward than they already are, dance notwithstanding.

Its her choice who she dances with or not. Its just a dance. RK is her friend and business partner as of now. Why should she base her decision to hang out with him, dance with him etc based on what Armaan or Poddars feel about it?!

Poddars are not gonna suddenly stop CAing her or blaming her if she bans RK from her life.

Why should Abhira care about her "ex family" when they didnt care 2 Fs about her. First time divorce ke baad, did anyone care to even wait a few mins before Ar-Ruhi shaadi announcement? Did Armaan care about Abhira when he danced with Ruhi at a public event where he took Ab as his wife? so why should Abhira care about what Poddars think of her?

First Divorce hadnt been finalized when V proposed Armaan's shaadi with Ruhi idea to kaveri. so aisi ghatiya insaan ke opinions seh kisi ko kyu farak padna chahiye.
