He didn't even say he will keep vidya over her kaha ki jitna pyar apne ma se karta hue uthna hi aao se ya vidya se b Karta hu. Shivani ko especially sagi ma ko makers kabhi b rishta mei negative nhi dekhayenge sirf Vidya ko vile kiya hei

I feel Armaan would be talking about feeling like he was the only one, that he was the priority & he truly belonged, only with his mom, that feeling he never had again. That also kind of ties into the earlier narrative where he did say that despite being a part of such a huge family, he always felt alone & paraya, and was called that many times by the family itself.

The sad fact was this was the case with him having his own father in the same house. That is why I can never forgive Madhav no matter what he does in getting Abhimaan back or what he does now with Shivani - it can never bring back the 30+ years of neglect that Armaan bore for no freaking fault of his.
