Trump is like - okay now that I am in power I can be as insensitive as I can…
The most weird part of his declaration on gender as well as immigration on the first day of his taking the position is that these matters are not even real matters/problem of America.
America have another problems that needs to be addressed with more priorities .
It seems like he is forcing his personal views on things to decide for America

bold: Exactly that, but it's nothing new...he did not hide what he thinks is to do to 'make America great again' (not even considering that "America" encompasses more than the USA). He is a quite one-dimensional guy... but regarding the times we live in I'm not astonished at all that he got elected.
President Trump promised to do a lot right from the start if elected, and he certainly did that.
During his first week in office, Trump signed dozens of executive orders affecting everything from immigration, climate change and oil exploration to health and medical research, as well as eliminating federal diversity programs, directives defining gender and much, much more.
Some of the executive actions will have immediate impacts, and others — like his attempt at getting rid of birthright citizenship for people born in the U.S. to parents without permanent legal status — will be challenged in the courts.
That's really very sad...thanks for sharing, Sutapa.
