Your first memory of a Bollywood song?
It doesn't matter if the statue has a blindfold or not... it's the matter of humans how law is used.
Law should also deliver speedy justice and not be limited to symbolisms.
Yes Law itna un blind hain ki Terrorists ko case ladne deta hain uske liye bail deta hain.
IAS was caught for fake certificates and a bribery case still Supreme Court still asked no coercive step should be taken against her and gave her protection
It is ridiculous
Jitna Judges, specially Supreme Court apne powers ka misuse karte hain utna koyi nahi karta.
The big problem is when the judiciary itself embraces the cause of politcal agendas. And that is always - without any exception - done in countries governed in an authoritarian way where even a democratic constitution is bent according to the whims of political groups.
The religious or racial diversity and the use of it for politcal agendas always has been against the human rights which are the base of a constitution...the judiciary (including police and similar departments) only should respect the laws following the constitution and no personal interests...when this doesn't happen (and it does far too often - not only in India), then justice not only fails but also supports the undermining of the respective constitution.
