Firstly, I don't recall saying anywhere at all that Abhira should have picked sides.. She did what she thought was right at this instance.. Siding with her family during the chappal kaand was right, sure.. But what about before that.. When all was well? When she found out what MG had done? Did she bother to so much as even stay upset for one whole day? My whole post was about how when Abhira makes questionable decisions, she is forgiven quickly whereas Armaan is criticised and held responsible for the mistakes even after he has admitted, corrected and repented for them.

Armaan is wrong in the accident case only because he stopped Vidya from apologising.. he cannot be held in contempt for choosing to fight for his mother.. Abhira is also right in fighting for her brother, but Abhira was wrong to let her newfound family dictate to her about her relationship.

Abhira may not have known what happened 22 years ago, but she sure as hell got told by her mother that she has no family and that she is to stay away from the Goenkas.. I don't see anyone constantly telling Abhira off for disregarding her mother's wishes.. she made a mistake and accepted the Goenkas and that was that but Armaan will be questioned for his poor judgement about Ruhi and Dakah even long after he has suffered the consequences for it.

Armaan is human and makes mistakes. And Abhira can choose to be with him or not. No one is worshipping him.. But yes, a few of us happen to surely admire him for owning up to his mistakes.. Sadly, I can't say the same for Abhira or the people who admire or perhaps even worship her.

Armaan framing Abhira in a fake bribery case for criminal Vidya's revenge was a mere mistake?

Armaan not speaking against his mother initially for cursing, physical violence, inhumane treatment because of fertility status was great redemption. Now his mother is character assassinating his wife, he won't say a word to her, that's redemption!

Abhira firmly told Manish not to interfere between husband and wife. She told Manish not to compare Armaan with Kaveri and Sanjay. But Armaan ki maa Abhira ko dhakka dey, curse kare yah infertility ky karan ashoot ki tarha treat kare. Armaan kuch na bole, yeh realization aur redemption hai.
