I believe it was not right for Miichelle to skip both the funeral and inauguration. Okay she finds him revolting so not attending inauguration can be excused. But she was in an extended vacation in Hawaii and couldn’t make it to Jimmy Carter’s funeral? All the others made it. Even Hillary attended both the events… Hillary. How tough it must’ve been for her & Kamala

All the Presidents, First Ladies, VPs there, find him distasteful, yet that didn’t stop them from attending… and except for AlGore, they all totally ignored him. Pence reluctantly shook hands with him cz AlGore did.

Oh forgot, Obama was the only one so chummy with him. They were laughing and chatting…

Anyway it’s tradition and duty of a First Lady, even former, to attend these events. I find it distasteful that she couldn’t cancel her extended Hawaii vacation to pay respect to the oldest President. Unless she really is sick and getting some treatment, then this whole post is moot.
