My thoughts are along the same line.

Armaan wanted to be Abhira's entire world and her sharing such strong bond with Abhir is bothering him. From Abhira's "meri family toh tum ho." to "tum meri family pe aise aarop nahi laga sakte" ,Armaan is not taking it well. From the time they are together, Abhira's only solid family has been him only. So for the first time when she is giving importance to someone other than him, Ar is not taking it well.

Its interesting if handled well. But its ITV so drama is more important than subtle things like this.
