Especially the Dania-Ammar track have been stretched for far too long. They might have more scenes together than Hamsha and Sadaf has with Bilal.

At the base level, just getting rid of all those stretched scenes, long pauses, extended intros and outros, filler scenes, voiceovers, and speeding up the slow dialog delivery would have been an improvement. Even better if we could have chopped off or edited down repetitive scenes where the cktr repeats to another cktr what we already saw or know as viewers, edited out offensive and dated words and lines like saala, laundi, baanke, and taken out badly executed scenes or chosen different shots (like wahaj dance or him looking so off in the drunk scene), it would have been even better. Take out ajeeb horror suspense hitchcockian music, and that's another improvement. Fix the lighting and filters.

What I listed is literally stuff that could have been addressed in post production. A crisper less meandering fast paced story with less offendive words and good lighting would have been far more watchable.

Haseeb was so out of touch. On one hand he has girls in skirts nighties and people drinking alcohol like no tomorrow, which suggests he's leaning into the masala. But the way cktrs speak, the extended scenes with so much mundane details, the long pauses and slowness of it all se lagta tha he is making some merchant ivory art film. If you are leaning into masala, shoot it like a masala and not direct it like it's some pretentious philosophical art house cinema.

Dania dumped her husband for Ammar, Hamsha dumped Faraz for Bilal and Sadaf directly called Bilal as soon as she got her divorce papers. KRQ is portraying strong modern women or mocking them ? Look at the dialogues they spew out
