gaurav rode is a good actor. i felt he was better than the one in MB (2013) even though the one in 2013 received appraisal for his role. basant is a good actor but like you said, better off in supporting role. tabhi he's stil remembered as dau bhaiya. if he got the role of krishna, most likely suitable to play young krishna.

Gautum rode was most suited for karna.I felt actors of star Plus MB lacked depth barring Draupadi ,Karna and Krishna.They looked superficial IMO.

It was always him who took the limelight.Interestingly ,the on screen interactions were NEVER physical apart from a few distant hugs and holding hands yet it had an impact.

Chemistry is always from both side, some actors have instant chemistry ( even if they just stand together) Sujay-Prachi comes in that category. I have seen a lot of recent days itv couples who have no chemistry at all even in intimate scenes. I personally can't watch a show if the leads don't have chemistry.

After his portrayal in SR ,I did watch few clips of SKR.Apart from good looking male leads,and great costumes,the show had nothing to offer.Ashish Sharma is a good actor but cannot pull off the demeanor of Ram .The girl looked beautiful but couldn't act.Bharat actually caught the attention of viewers during the wedding scenes .But his acting was mediocre .He fixed his teeth ,worked out and did his own interpretation of Ram which proved to be successful.He did justice to the role though never exactly matched the person.For me he was the best Ram ...!!-

I liked a lot of MB actors. Shaheer was good, actually all the pandavas were good in their respective character except Lavanya. Kunti actress was bad so was Pandu. Anup was good. SRJ was excellent. Arpit I never liked.Our Hanuman ji rocked as Dushashan. But the best was Pooja

Same here.I cannot watch leads with no chemistry.😊😊

Lookwise they look perfect of course.But I always felt something is lacking between them.

There they distorted 95%

At least here till Ravan Vadh 40% was shown correctly but MB was badly distorted by Nastik. Draupadi called Karna Bhoot pisach at her swayamvar .
