apart from abhira ..Armaan is the hero so his character is also very important..and rishta is always particular about the lead couples backgrounds. With regards to the legacy heroines..it’s always made clear who their parents are..but the heros as well..thus far all previous 3 heros…naitik, karthik, and abhimanyu were beloved sons and had firm,positions in the families..although karthik,also,had a stepmom .. she loved him like her own and made huge sacrifices for him..but here Armaan is treated like a poor relative in Poddars family and that whole family is ever ready to throw the sautela tag on him,and his stepmom,constantly manipulates him.. so,Armaan also needs his true identity..which his real,mom.will bring with her. I think Dkp,will keep his real mom good because his stepmom is shown as so bad..

I’ve said from day one that these two characters are very very similar from being devoted big brothers to self-sacrificing doormats. It’s almost scary. It’s just ram was a bit more sunshine than armaan.
