In fact if they wouldn’t have promoted this as a Wahaj show and wouldn’t have dragged it unnecessarily it is not a bad watch.

You find the advice okay or just in character for the mother? Her advice about not leaving her husband for another man in itself isn’t problematic. It’s true actually. Ideally she should take time out for herself. Her mom is insinuating that that’s the reason Sadaf is leaving Ammar as if nothing else he is doing is that alarming. Just a little mistake that Sadaf is overreacting on. That’s what I find problematic and I hope they don’t try to prove the mother right. Sadaf put more than she needed to into this marriage. It’s okay to want to set herself free from this toxicity.

@bold exactly its not a bad watch..and the way people are overreacting to each and every line of this drama doesn't make sense to me sometimes.

About Wahaj,I would say I really feel bad that though his character is heroic and the only character worth rooting for in the show..the entire show is not ML-centric...that's the reason he has less screentime.

I just wish they didn't drag this sadaf-ammar-dania angle too much otherwise people wouldn't have done nitpicking on small small things.

if ammar becomes a changed person in the end, her mother will turn out to be the right one. if ammar remains the same, her mother will be proven wrong.

in addition, her mother also thinks that sadaf wants divorce bcoz she has bilal as an option 😆

It’s not about advising her to divorce or not but it’s more about dismissing Sadaf’s concerns. The issues in her marriage are very real and give her to the very the least the right to separate…truthfully she has the right to divorce Islamically too. Her mom telling her to go back to her home in the car was so unsupportive of her. Sadaf held strong but most women would feel the lack of support at home and return to a toxic environment. Sadaf’s mom is making it sound like Sadaf is upset at Ammar for something petty such as him forgetting to do a chore or something. Even if he claims to have changed, she can still end this. The trust is gone totally. Ammar has never been apologetic over his actions this whole time so it will be too little, too late if he decides to change later

i agree sadaf has right to get divorce. even her mother said she won't stop her if she asks for divorce.

sadaf has right to get divorce even without any reason. if she doesn't want to live with ammar, she doesn't even need a reason to leave him.

her mother probably thinks they are still immature college students who treat marriage as a joke. she might be expecting some maturity from all of them.

but it will be alright if sadaf gets divorce, completes her iddah period and then gets into a relationship with bilal.

anything before divorce will surely cost her later because there is no point in getting into a romantic relationship with someone else before divorce.

Of course Islamically you have to wait for the iddah period but they may not show that being really restrictive in this. I doubt they will be super touchy and romantic but they may start to talk about their feelings. This show has been pretty relaxed about showing male/female friendships which I find they are usually more strict about in dramas. Ammar is pretty casual about going to any female friend’s house even if it is in the middle of the night. Bilal too has Humsha over at late at night .

but ammar and bilal getting close to females is not being shown in positive way. hamsha is just a friend.

when divorce is shown in the shows, they simply show that everything is done and dusted. here it looks like they won't even show divorce and sadaf will start a relationship with bilal while still beig married but let's see.

Ammar having an affair with Dania is obviously shown in a negative light and Bilal having his escorts over is also portrayed to be wrong. Ammar being close friends with Humsha seemed normal in this. He was dancing with her at the wedding and hugged her. Everyone seemed fine with that and which I felt was unusual for a Pakistani drama. Starting a relationship before divorce is a bit more controversial so maybe it will be an issue. Sadaf may want to but her mom might stop her. I just hope she doesn’t pressure her to try and make it work with Ammar. She tried, there’s nothing left there to save.

i don't think her mother is pressurizing her or she ever will.

she is just giving her opinion. she even said i won't stop you i want to get divorce.

also when does sadaf listen to her mother? she wanted her to accept bilal's proposal but she didn't listen and married ammar.

her mother's opinion doesn't matter to her but it usually turns out to be true later.
