The show will be ending soon but it would be wrong not to appreciate Dev Chaudhury as a character when the entirety of ITV is filled with shitty male leads.

Dev is not a pendulum. He doesn't even spare a look at Alisha. Mannat is his wife, and he is clear about it to himself & the world.

Dev doesn't go behind anyone's back. This man does everything on the face.

Dev doesn't abuse his wife in any manner. Mannat slapped him, verbally accused him of being a molester, but he never raised a hand ok her. He never blamed her for anything and even supported her despite being angry on her.

It's very hard to find ML like Dev in ITV at present and I am glad I got the opportunity to watch him. This show might be of a short journey but whatever it was, it would be a good memory.

Mannat has also matured and can see Dev's reality. Which is good as she slowly begins to trust her husband and Dev returns this trust with interest.

They do not love each other. Ek saath jeene marne ki kasmein nahi khayi hain. But still they have more substance than most pairs in ITV who make grand promises and then misunderstand each other the very next second.

Glad to see Dev as a husband who stands with his wife so powerfully. ❤️

Yes, I agree. Dev and Mannat are an example that love may not always be necessary in a relationship, but there should be understanding, respect, and trust. Dev is such a Green forest male lead after a long time we see this type of male lead. But theis SP channels is Shitty, they keep repeating the same story in their prime shows, like in Anupamaa they repeat ye rishta story. and in ye rishta they are recycling their own old tracks like they dont have any soties And Jhanak is the worst serial. I feel like they are bringing a leap in Ghum instead they should have ended Ghum and given time to Deewaniyat. It’s such a unique concept and was doing well at the 8 PM slot, but the channel gave it a terrible slot. I truly wish SP gets karma back this show also dont have nagetive comments in insta aur as well in you tube like other shows the show have so much potential

I agree with what you guys are saying. I don't actively follow Deewaniyat but it has a lot more protentional if given the proper screen time. Deewaniyat and Udne Ki Aasha are the only stories that are good on StarPlus right now with the best MLs.
