My only fear is, because of what everyone is saying about the writer, is that they end up making the mom right at the end. They will make it seem like Sadaf is gravitating towards Bilal because she’s vulnerable and/or in revenge mode. In the end, Ammar will change and she is expected to go back to her husband and forget everything. If that is the story then it is sooooo regressive. I don’t think it’s going there, seeing the direction the story is going in but everyone is freaking me out about the director.

i agree they stretched dania track a bit too much. it should have been concise. now dania knows that ammar is only using her so she should go away. i mean there is nothing left in ammar dania track.

But only Ammar thinks he’s a victim. No one is feeling any empathy for him. And him victimizing himself is guaranteeing that he doesn’t even get an ounce of empathy from the audience.

i think they will end up making her mother right.

as far as i have noticed, they have never shown her mother in bad light.

they have shown that sadaf makes mistakes and wrong decisions but her mother is always right.

whatever sadaf will do, there will be a revenge element. if she start pursuing bilal before the divorce is done, her mother will definitely turn out to be the right one in the end.

In that way, maybe it better for Wahaj that his screen time is limited if there’s nothing much for him to do. It makes people crave seeing him on screen. Although I believe the potential was there. He started drinking again…now what? Is he still drinking? Did he stop after seeing Sadaf? How does he feel about her change? Kind of important parts to the story and they wouldn’t just have to feel filler. He’s with Zaviyar now, a couple of conversations between them would add so much.

Honestly I feel the overdose of Ammar basically doing nothing has been a disservice to Usama as well. Maybe if there was some actual progress and things going on, it wouldn’t feel so torturous for most of the audience to watch his scenes. We’ve been seeing his daily routine, him and Dania having almost the same conversations and him looking like a victim in spite of the fact that he is messing up. That’s been on repeat for mumble episodes now.

The repetitive conversations of Dania and Ammar is all KRQ. Haseeb and 7th sky did not change any dialogues, otherwise krq would have said this like he bashed Haissam for GM.

According to Usama they said the lines as is but Haseeb added visual montages which weren't in the script. So all those dragged intros and outros with mundane details, the long pauses and camera zooms the slow halting dialogue delivery - that's all Haseeb.

Wahaj has more fillers than Usama but they are usually separate filler scenes and they've been spread over the entire run, but with Usama, existing scenes are being dragged out which makes it look worse. Also Bilal is not unlikeable like Ammar, so we can happily watch a 3.5 minute silent scene of Wahaj lying on sofa getting up rubbing his face look broody and walk in the corridor in his home or 2 minutes of him just playing the piano smiling, etc. If Usama had same fillers, we would cry blue murder.

i think they are showing those scene to indicate that he is somewhat psychotic, not completely normal. no normal human being commits suicide anyway.

People saying this has never watched many or any of his shows. His brand of misogyny is not of this type. I will bet 1000 dollars Sadaf will divorce from Ammar and marry Bilal.

i have seen a lot of his shows and i have never seen any of his righteous ML/FL pursuing another person before the divorce is done. if sadaf does this, she is definitely somewhat grey. so there are chances she will end up with the grey character.

The story is definitely not going there..

See every dialogue by hero/heroine has got a significance in the story..

You remember Bilal's first dialogue when he says "barbaad kar degi lekin peeche mudke nahi dekhegi"..that's what has exactly happened in the show till now right?

So when Bilal has said that "you seemed to me like a new Sadaf" so that means the realizations have started changing Sadaf.

We are at the last 1/3rd of the story now.. everything depends on how they execute the climax.

I dont think krq is writing him to be empathetic. The issue is Usama is not a charismatic of an actor to make an unlikable cktr watchable. I also think the cktr could have been executed and/or interpreted a bit differently so it wasn't so unwatchable.
