That one little scene was so effective that it makes me sad that they haven’t had more scenes like this. I still don’t mind the story, it’s their progression that makes the scene so special especially since it’s following their little spat (or whatever you call it) in his office. They just needed to get to this point a lot faster and not have spent so much time on Ammar and Dania’s repetitive scenes.

That scene was good considering the fact that Sadaf is finally out of a toxic relationship. You are forced to see the interactions of useless characters whom you dont want to see on your screen...all bilal-sadaf scenes post sadaf's marriage are not bad,its good...they seem to share a comfort level which is nice to see. But all these things get diluted because of so much absurdities in between (just like what Aamna from SH was saying)

You can also say plenty of people watched Vicky Vidya ka woh wala video and Bad Newzz because of Tripti. Some of her fans may also be justifying her choices now, how her performances were not so bad in these 2 films given what she had to work with, or how doing these roles is good for her career and image in the long run.

People must have watched that for Tripti but was her role impactful? Than definitely NO. Here at least Bilal Abdullah and his dialogues are loved by the audience..but is it the same case for Tripti? I dont think so.

Because they thought if they market this drama as ensemble drama it might not get views & TRP so they removed Usama from the poster & also didn't show any dialogue of Usama in the 1st look. They did false marketing in hope that it would get higher views & TRPs. They basically underestimated Usama as his other dramas on other channels are getting high TRPs.

Given how much smd is universally made fun of, people loving Bilal and his dialogues are a minority. Aaj ke din toh SMD had even fallen behind Duniyapur in views. I am sure there were few Tripti loyalists who also liked her dialogues and found her impactful in Bad newzz and Vicky Vidya. Andhon main kana raja is not how impact is defined.

Wahaj ke brand ko kuch bhi nahi hua hai yaar...all you people are expecting him to do tere bin type of show once again...but abhi koi bhi aisa show on air hai hi nahi.

Right now,faraar(which has biggest names of the industry),qarz e jaan,tan man neel o neel are very good content wise..but how many views are they getting? How many people are talking about it? If Wahaj did that kind of show,only elitist people and critics would have been happy.

And except all these,right now only iqtidar type of C-grade show exist which is just running on brainless chemistry where hero is spineless. Than people would have been happy?

So what should he do? He should just wait for the "right script " which would be good commercially as well as critically? When will that right script come? When he will cross 40? A star has to think lot of things before signing a show.

"Out of sight is out of mind" ...and lot of stars have lost their stardom because of "waiting for right script " etc etc.....Yes I feel bad as his fan because of SMD doing bad...but I m not defending him ,I just understand why he took this decision.

I'm happy for tripti's makeover as she looks good but her taking bad choices aren't good even Vicky too taking terrible scripts Post marriage with Katrina

You're right. I don't think Wahaj would do always similar kind of role like Danish. Actor decides to opt soma drama based on number of factors, the position he is in now its also difficult for him to opt only content based drama which would fetch less views and actually more general viewers would not like, for A star all this matters a lot, not only an average viewer, even educated viewers around me don't wanna watch content based one mostly as many take dramas only as entertainment and they actually want that and IMO, there is nothing wrong in it, people have their own lives for critical thinking and to face reality, Even content based dramas aren't like offered for everyone. Its all about the connections and who wants to cast whom and if one just waits then thats more bad. No actor would know before that some drama will be a blockbuster. its all about luck and bad luck. If I consider the views of SMD, then many A star actors have given that level of views, All dramas can't be blockbuster always. But somehow some are expecting Wahaj to give blockbuster only. Thats not possible. Wahaj brand has not at all affected. One can realize it anyway based on number of views first episode of his next drama would fetch. Actually I would be happy if people have less expectation and won't make the full buzz when something doesn't go blockbuster rather than just always expecting blockbuster, which isn't feasible. Everything aside he has shined as Bilal and has done great apart from couple of scenes which I mainly put on director like for other actors as director is one who visualizes and directs. Also the reality is because storyline isn't being liked viewer nitpicks each and every minute thing, whereas in case drama is liked many just ignore such flaws which exists in many dramas.

Don't talk about TRP at least, any kind of shit is fetching TRP on ARY. Pak tv viewers are obsessed with ARY. Geo channel in general is getting less TRP for all dramas, but noise is made only on SMD. SMD wouldn't have fetched even this TRP if Wahaj wasn't in it looking pace of drama and the high level of usage of alcohol and all.

What views are you even flexing. Smd getting 8m views in a week and not even crossing 10m after 2 weeks is an embarrassment. If he did a faraar or tmnon and that got 5 6m, it would still have been an achievement giv3n the genre or the channel plus the critical appreciation.

Which a lister is doing 3rd lead in absolutely shit mega signature high budget commercial dramas that is also getting flop trps and struggling with views. Jn was bad drama that was roasted but got 2.5billion views at least. Radd and aiej get good trps and Sherry is praised by everyone and radd was really good quality wise. Hamza ali abbasi did a jej which got good trps. Feroze is doing humraaz and sanwal yaar pya which is a multistarrer but ferize will definitely noy be the 3rd lead. Even in khumar his ss was balanced.
