Foot fetish is disgusting imo

No offense to anyone but the actors couldn't deliver in SMD. I personally feel Maya needs to work on her acting. They focused too much on looks and clothing rather than acting. The emotions were over the top for almost all of them. Even Wahaj wasn't best in all scenes. TB worked because of insane chemistry and the leads had action/ reaction, the acting was there.

I understand what you are saying..but did Wahaj-Maya get any romantic scene till now? That's the main question. Okay may be Maya wasn't good in that pre marriage function wala scene..but what about rest?

Whatever emotional scenes were there between them that was not as a "couple". I still say that Bilal Sadaf is not shippable characters till now..but just count the no of scenes Humsha-Bilal has and Bilal-Sadaf has.

On the top of it,the demand of the story is not such where you have to show chemistry...TB demanded a fiery passionate chemistry but does SMD demand that? Definitely NO..because this show is more like a commentary on true love than a love story.

For example-Wahaj Hania didn't have chemistry in Mujhe Pyaar Hua Tha but they had so much chemistry in Jani Door Gaye..so its all the need of the story at the end of the day.

There is good ott and bad ott acting. Even in ott acting, actors need to know when to restrain themselves and when to dial it up. Ott acting does not mean contrived. Good ott acting should communicate authenticity. Look at Wahaj ki acting in the kidnapping scene in Tere Bin when Murtasim is searching for Merub. All he did was yell Merub. His emotions were delivered at a really heightened pitch. It was fantastic ott performance because the heightened emotions suited the situation. There was also much complexity in performance. Just his eyes communicated anger desperation fear longing all at once. The raspy voice yelling communicated the inner turmoil. The emotions were heightened but felt authentic and you could connect. In e19 in smd by the pool Wahaj was able to do good ott performance. It was theatrical but not contrived. Good ott acting is about striking the right balance, getting in the skin of the cktr and acting ott in a way that seems organic to the character. That balance even wahaj cannot maintain in all scenes in smd. Even in tb he faltered in some places but 80 percent time he was good ott.

i think everyone's acting is fine in SMD.

it had to be a bit over the top because they are psycho people. this kind of acting fits well with their characters.

They sold the show on Maya and Wahaj's name. They should have sold it on Usama and Maya's name which might have worked. No offense but Usama's other shows are getting the rating. It's false marketing. Wahaj has flowerpot role. I personally didn't like her acting, Hira did a better job. I think there was never a story line, they just did fill in the blanks.

See the show is not yet over so I seriously cannot comment on anything...but all I would say is Maya-Wahaj characters were not a couple in the show yet..

Only after the show is over,I'll understand whether it was a false marketing or they were actually supposed to be a couple by the end.

Right now,in this show everything is a mess.

the thing is ammar can't be called a hero. he is the lead but not a hero.

bilal's love the perfect kind of love that's why he is the hero.

usama's other shows are boring imo. i saw him only in SMD and i'm not interested in QEJ kind of shows.

SMD has a proper storyline. it is just that people are not able to undersrand it. may be audience will be able to understand the full storyline after the final episode.

lots of films and dramas where the good guy who gets the girl is not the most important cktr. but film ya drama kiska hai is based on who is lead, not who is hero.

sunny deol was hero in darr but it darr is called an srk film

shahid kapoor was the hero in padmavat but it is called a ranveer (& deepika) film

imran khan is hero in ouatimd but it is called an akshay film

faris shafi is hero in manjali (writtenby krq) but it is called (mehwish &) mikaal drama

ali abbas is hero in deewangi but it is called a danish taimoor drama

sana javed was married to another guy in khaani but it was a feroze khan drama
