I feel like they are afraid to say that the actors did a terrible job. That guy in KDH, he always defends the actors. I think he is friend of Maya and Wahaj. I personally think they made Khichdi out of the show.

There’s not a single department where this show hasn’t gone wrong. Everyone has given their absolute worst - it can be Maya & Wahaj’s acting, giving a lot of screenspace to Hamsha and Ammar - ( Usama )who’s been least impactful and doing an even worse job than Maya & Wahaj, Haseeb’s direction/ overall editing of the show not to mention KRQ’s dialogues which are dripping with misogyny. I can’t believe this is the quality of the project that they had been touting as a signature mega project.

I think it was overly hyped. They are just blaming the writer, saying director or actors couldn't do much. But even the actors are doing terrible job. As a Wahaj fan, even I felt he is over acting especially the last part. The show was sold on his name, yet he is hardly seen. They need to end this like Mein, everyone should go separate. Also the director is so sensitive, can't even take criticism. Anyways , I do hope they finish it off. I was finally able to binge watch it.

I'll not agree with KRQ's dialogues dipping in misogyny...because if this was said by hero than I would have understood that he has meant it in a positive way..but all the dialogues you are talking about are being said by cringe characters. The problem in the writing is "knitting of the story"..which is not done well...on the top of it,there is bad editing,direction and painfully slow pace...the unnecessary screenspace to the characters we dont want to watch was the final nail in the coffin ..If they gave us leads romance long time back,all the flaws could have been ignored.

Not only can he accept legitimate criticism, he thinks this work is akin to that of SLB’s the joke writes itself

It’s a good show or rather it could have been good. I do like the premise, it makes sense but the execution has been botched up so much, it’s exasperating as a viewer. Geo has stretched the show more than a freaking bubble gum. Wahaj and Maya’s chemistry was the USP of the show or wohi nahi hai show mein fgs. The romance scenes they promised seems to be only a alcoholic haze of BA / or maybe Ammar’s

I actually hope they can finish it on a decent note. Let’s hope.

Ahh no. The main objective of the show seems to be get the FL in bad - it’s like everything she does is insensitive, when that’s not the case. She has taken bad decisions, I’ll accept but there’s been no effort to show things from her perspective - like none at all. It feels like the whole point is crucify her choices. As for all the bad comments done by the cringe characters, it proves my point actually. It just highlights the fact that male lead can do no wrong; only the people around him are regressive - which in itself is an indicator.

@b: this? This I’ll agree. The flaws are being pin pointed because the Maya hate is forced, two since leads are not getting scenes together, it makes people nit-pick all the details / scenes of the drama. All this would/ could have been ignored if leads had more time.

I agree hatred was started from haters before smd only but right now it’s getting bashed for rightful reasons not any paid reviews. The team we are in contact ( two three members ) accepted their fault gracefully that writing directing and even acting editing got failed. Haseeb has to know that . They also know what we got promised (bilsad story) and what we got delivered ( ammar Humsha ) because of which smd has become failure that’s fooling audience and expecting it to be hit. But the flop tag goes to wahaj and maya because sab ne wahaj maya ka smd flop kahega and no one says hira usama ka smd flop hogaya right?

Not just major flaws the whole story is flaw and worst. The way script was written is absolute shit. What to ask krq writer when we know he is capable of writing such script I blame actors here especially wahaj maya to sign this drama.

Haseeb smd is getting deserved trps and have to say views decreased but still views are more than what smd is deserved. All thanks to wahaj and replace him with any other actor views would not even have 3 million per episode. Director is still in denial that why smd is not getting deserved TRPs like seriously ?

I agree with the fact that KRQ has not focused enough on FL's perspective...the whole thing was to make Bilal Abdullah look like a hero...

But I think I predicted this long time back..that Sadaf was supposed to make mistakes in her life and than realize the meaning of true love..right now she is just trying to make a loveless marriage work which lot of women does...and there are many women who doesn't have an idea of love but try to make a loveless marriage work..I dont feel that's unrealistic.

But again,the entire problem lies in the execution more than anything.

I just hope the show ends well at least...all these things could be forgiven and forgotten if they end well(but looking at the team,expectations are very low)
