She will I think. Now that I see I feel like the script was written to make Sadaf the ulmite villain though she is one who has been going through hell since her father passed away out of the blue. She was clearly grieving and was traumatized and was desperate to not lose another family member and these men were trying to make her say yes.People act like she has done crime by rejecting Him and deserves to be abused.
First, if instead of Wahaj, Bilal Abdullah was played by someone like Mikaal, Sami, Junaid Khan, people would have been more sympathetic to Sadaf. Bilal and Ammar are equal characters (literally options A and B for Sadaf) and should have been played by actors of an equal level. By making it Wahaj vs Usama, the scales were tipped so much that viewers cannot relate to Sadaf's choice.
Second, Sadaf is a very poorly written character, making it difficult for audiences to connect with her. However, there were many performance and execution issues as well that exacerbated the problem. You can see my previous posts on this. Since Bilal came back from the US, Sadaf came across as hot and cold, bipolar, instead of conflicted and ambivalent. Haseeb's filler scenes (which I am 99% sure he improvised and were not in the script) -- where we see Sadaf and Ammar cackling in his new office, enjoying the perks BA gave them while abusing him a scene ago; Sadaf gleefully celebrating her haldi with Ammar and then pulling a 180 with the abba khwab main aye the; the cringe intimacy between Sadaf and Ammar -- just made Sadaf more unsympathetic.
Third, Maya is much more suited to playing softer, vulnerable, positive characters. Whenever Maya plays someone who is headstrong, opinionated & dabang, she makes the character very unlikeable (like Kim in Yunhi in early episodes). I've said that Sadaf is very similar to Mehwish Hayat's cktr in Manjali. But Mehwish is an ace at playing FLs who can be unlikable while still making audiences feel for her. She straddles this thin line very well, but understandably, not all actors have the same forte.
