What Vidya did was wrong on every level ..no two ways about that …but if this had been anyone but Abhir, most likely this case would have been settled out of court as most such cases are unless there is a loss of life ..it is the conflict between the families and Abhir’s irrational belief that Vidya did this on purpose that fuelled the rage of the Goenkas for justice ..which of course is only applicable when one of their own is a victim and not a perp…but even that did not apply when Arohi died …anyway showing Abhira securing bail for Vidya by seeking the intervention of the politician is an attempt to get brownie points for her in the eyes of the Poddars and the audiences ..make her look like an adarsh behen who got her brother justice and then became a female version of Aparachit/ Anniyan and transformed immediately into adarsh babu who will fight for her saas now …....Suvarna warned Abhira that she was putting her marriage on line ..but it didn’t matter and justice for bhai was what mattered ..but now that justice is secured, she wants the entire bakery and not just the cake …let’s get real ..which family or son would stand by and watch while one of their own was sent to jail for ten years for a crime that certainly did not merit that kind of a sentence ….the problem is some fans want a version of her father for Abhira ..but they forget her father could be everything her mother wanted because there were no competing relationships ..here Armaan is even more obliged to Vidya and the Poddars than even Rohit ..Rohit can feel entitled but Armaan will always feel gratitude to the family for having accepted him into their fold …all of these are established facts in the story ..all this talk of redemption ..I want to know what this redeemed Armaan should do ..a bhangra maybe with Abhira after his mother is sent to prison ? She lost trust in him and their relationship and sent him papers ..he still had faith in their relationship and was trying to woo her back ..but now he has lost faith too and has signed the papers she served and returned the same

Having said all this, I know that tomorrow they are going to make Armaan the villain and Abhira mahan and make him grovel for her forgiveness ..they may bring an AA and she may even walk off into the sunset with him…but none of that makes a difference to the reality of the present circumstances …

Armaan would not be Armaan if he did not behave the way he currently is ..having watched the show for so long, let us at least understand characters and their essence …Abhira does not need to accept him ..she can still take a divorce and go ..like some people said, there is not even the complication of a child .. but this ugly ITV habit of making MLs into either villains or self effacing saints like Anuj or Abhinav who have no identity of their own beyond serving the FL ..this needs to go ..FLs don’t need to be saints nor do MLs…let characters be flawed as they are in real life ..stop writing shitty contrived tracks simply to create artificial conflict ..treat your audience with greater respect and credit then with some level of intelligence !

The writers are writing things without even once taking info consideration the revised dynamics of the characters. That is the issue I had. Armaan talking like Abhira has done nothing in the relationship did not sound like the man who was wooing his wife coz he was wrong.

Baaki I agree with you 💯. Armaan would always be indebted to Vidya. Whethere we like it or not, Vidya is the only mother figure he knows and understands. Whatever she does is the only reference ge has when he thinks of a mother figure.

So her giving shraap or her asking Armaan to take revenge is what he assumes any mother would do. He has never seen any other side yo thai story. His father had always been non existent & the rest of the family were wrapped in their own selves to really focus their efforts on him. That is why Vidya's every action affects him the way it does. The funny part os that Abhira not just understands it, but supports it as well. Which is why she flipped, coz after everything when she lost Armaan, she realised the fight wasn't worth the outcome she got at the end, which is why she is making the efforts to bail Vidya out
