Bilal and Sadaf has had only 10 conversations in 29 episodes (9 in-person and 1 phone). 4 were cancer-related. 3 were job-related. Only 2(3 at most) conversations had personal content where they talked about their feelings.

My guess is that Sadaf will somehow realize that Bilal has started drinking again and understand why he drank. She will first apologize to him and then tell him that they are friends to convince him to stop drinking again. This way, their relationship will develop further.

In fact, in the OSTs, Bilal clearly says, "We became friends."

The exact reason Bilal is drinking is because of this—he's drinking because of Sadaf's actions. If Sadaf had spoken to him directly instead of bringing Zaviyar into the situation, he wouldn't have started drinking.

If you want to fall in love with someone, you need to be friends first.

This drinking situation will ultimately lead to them becoming friends.

Now the real question is how will sadaf fall in love with bilal? After going through torturous marriage no girl would be willing to fall in love or marry another person atleast till some time ( sometimes one or two years)

Humsha coming clean to Sadaf will be the first trigger for Sadaf to reexamine and feel guilty for all the bad things she thought of Bilal. There will be voiceovers/fbs of all her moments with Bilal where she will think of his niceness/selflessness/gentlemanliness. She would want to apologize to him and will go to airport so she can say sorry and atone before he leaves. But he would have already left. She will go to Dubai after him. We might get an episode or two of them in Dubai at best as relationship/friendship/love/combo development. Once they come back from Dubai, rain scene, Ammar zehar drama, Sadaf shutting down Ammar and confessing love to Bilal. Then happy ever after wala epilogue.

The screenwriter will likely have Sadaf question both Amaar and Bilal's characters.

Sadaf has seen and experienced Amaar drunk multiple times. She knows Amaar as a liar, shameless, disloyal, selfish, incapable of love, dishonorable, and someone who resorts to brute force. In fact, Sadaf recognized Amaar's true face and character through his drunken state.

Now, she needs to see Bilal drunk and get to know him as well. A drunk person often reflects their true emotions and personality without a filter.

For Sadaf to fall in love with Bilal, she needs to understand him even in his drunken state. I think the screenwriter made Bilal start drinking again with this intention in mind.
