Even I didn’t liked he gave up TTF, but if you look at the bigger picture him accepting it would have given chum all the sympathy. So in a way his one move changed the game and he got the public support

Dekho. I am a sports lover and there's no grey areas. You follow the rules or you don't. Karan did the game within rules. Other did the same Haan he didn't prioritize himself because of whatever reasons but that wasn't wrong. Maybe he is confident he will anyway reach. And after this task she already owes him one.
