Based on the promo it looks like Karan knows Vivian is soft target so he is trying to make him feel guilty so he can go easy or quit. Vivian is easy to get manipulated. Karan used Avinash tactic and messed with Vivian’s mind.

I believe if Vivian won the task he should accept it ignoring Karan’s taunts

Maybe Karan was successful in his mission.
