To ye india hai especially dkp verse yaha pe kuch v hota hai 🤣 since we don't have that option so doesn't matter if Vidya got 1 month jail or one day. So my point was Vidya could have gotten any number of days as jail time armansa husband #1 in world and milky way galaxy aise hi react karta. If bageera wanted to save her marriage and also wanted to save abhir, she could have used her bhasan baji as she does to everyone and convinced abhir. As far as I know, it's allowed in India, despite being unrecognised, if the Judge desire for them to do community service instead of jail time. I think it's allowed for either minor offences or offence by minors or first time offenders. Mainly depends on the Judge.

Also I think both party can petition this, maybe even out of court then bring it to judge.

Firstly she should've been arrested before the trial begins.then no criminal is allowed to have hum saath saath moments before arrest. They surrender right in court ..
