@bold: Yeah, that's the thing.....both the leads are being butchered to prop up Arshi didi....but Ani still manages to get my sympathy atleast cuz all his actions are stemming from kindness and a sense of responsibility - yes even towards the Arshi who only abuses him constantly.....while all of Jhanak's actions are brazen, pompously stupid and selfish.....I don't see any selflessness in what she does even though Leena props up an army of supporters for her in every track to hail her like a Devi while vilifying Ani like he's some monster.....lol
Ani is judged and vilified for any lie he tells....people come in hordes to insult him for that....but when Jhanak lies so casually to make up a name in front of a guy she just met, instantly agreeing to nanny his baby, barely pausing before she plays his fake wife....lol where is the judgement then? Jhanak gets to debase Ani's character to THIS extent in the story after all they've been through....and we are still expected to consider JHANAK the bechari? 
As for Ani not going after Jhanak even after knowing she's in danger....lol at this point he is being shown as a LOSER with a capitol L....so that totally goes with his being a loser....he is not going around preaching about moral superiority to anyone now like Jhanak is doing....that is why Jhanak's pompous attitude grates more. Ani has accepted he has failed in every way in life....but Jhanak is among the people who kicked him when he was down, when he was at his lowest....uska kya?
Yes it is Ani's core character to still keep calling after Jhanak, trying to search for her even if he resigns himself to adjusting in life with Arshi again.....but what has he gotten for all his efforts? Does Jhanak even REMEMBER the bazillion times HE saved her life? LOL how easily she trashed him in front of everyone yet again.....toh as an audience frankly, how much capacity should we be left with to care if he searches for her again? Pata hai waise hi mil jaayenge and Jhanak ise phir se verbally abuse karegi, Didi and bacche ke baare mein taunts maaregi.....lol toh it's stopped mattering if he searches for her.....The amount of efforts he has taken for so long to keep her alive even when she fights him at every point, SNEERS and MOCKS his worry for her.....he doesn't have anything new left to prove in my eyes now atleast......Jhanak has long since forgotten that he is the only person who fought the longest and hardest for her no matter his mistakes.
. Leena aunty ki lollipops ki ab koi value hi nahi hai when it's clear ki jab Ani iske samne ayega toh uske aage sirf bakwaas hi karegi just like last time she did in Mumbai track and on mandap. Lol mann se pati ke aage kisi or ki patni banne main koi problem nahi hone Wali isko. It's nothing new and it Nothing that we didn't watch. Same old crap with new guy vihaan. Lol.
