Someone please explain me elaborately why was Maya hated before SMD went on air? Is it because of Maya being Wahaj's best friend? I mean I have seen their videos and they seemed too comfortable like chuddy-buddies.

I saw some posts on reddit but I couldn't understand why there was too much hatred before SMD went on air? Like is it wrong for a married male celeb to have a female best friend?

They’re very close friends and that bugs people for some reason. Maya is also accused of only owning her friendship to Wahaj after he became famous which isn’t true.

hira positioned herself well. she knows she's at a point where heroine roles won't be coming. so instead of playing bhabhi and mother roles, she has pivoted to vamp roles. with jspj, she showed she can do middle class vamp, with smd she showed she can d urban contemporary modern vamp, and with her new one, she will show she can do sari wearing glam vamp.
