And tbh,I am also not much happy seeing Wahaj so less and the fact that its basically Sadaf's journey..but trust me,most people watch it for Wahaj and his character....though they couldn't do full justice to his character....

About the romance and all I have very low expectations but end tak yeh bhi seh lenge hum saath saath

Did they actually mention chemistry? I know the director did for a scene which I don’t think has aired yet but did the channel? I felt it was more marketed about a never seen love and it was clear it would be one-sided. The biggest scam was having Wahaj front and center everywhere and using him so heavily in marketing to only give him very little screen time.

Wahaj once quoted dialogue from SMD like there are many girls whose marriage happens with the one whom they don’t love but after marriage they realise love was with wrong person but marriage has happened with right person. I’m thinking if it’s like Sadaf and Bilal marriage track will come after Sadaf divorce as we have seen still less of Wahaj and also the dialogue would fit there. She will marry Bilal not because of love but as an arrange marriage maybe and then they will show how she will realise true love. Seems I’m expecting too much . Let see

yes rather than iqtidar I can watch Tere bin instead on repeat skipping just meerab murtasim separation track . Their chemistry and couple scenes are next level. Also the expression of actors in all the fiery scenes are on next level which can be watched several times and all other drama is also mediocre. AFAIU it’s being watched and liked in Pakistan itself more. India I didn’t heard much.

haan i was talking about haseeb. his post about passionate chemistry plus his other post where he shared all those posters with intense romances. maine toh pata nahi kya ka socha tha ke kya angsty, passionate, intensity waka romance milega.

But whatever views it’s getting too, seems undeserving to me tbh. When A list actors & so called good director deliver this kind of project where newbies are delivering good ones, it’s a cause for concern.

even newbies project like iqtidaar is trash content only running as people see couple scenes. Also I feel some reviewers and all are doing next level mimicry simply to earn views which destroys viewing experience more. Even for well acted scenes and some dialogues which are expected in philosophical plot they bash. In slow motion it’s expected that one will see a reaction for a long time. IMO the main problem with drama is less screen time of Wahaj as BA which is the only character performed well and also liked by viewers and next is too much stretch of side lead track with lead absence and undoubtedly biggest enemy is slow pace done by channel to increase episodes which channel does but in this kind of track that doesn’t work as story is already slow paced one, making it more slower makes it irritating. Else I would say it’s lot more interesting than many other dramas. But what’s the point slow pace destroyed everything. Which is giving the reason for all reviewers to enjoy bashing even for good scenes. And anyway let’s channel realise and not do such slow pace to increase episodes.

but if sadaf marries bilal and says that line it means that she was in love with ammar which doesn't fit. just as how the friendship dialogue ended up about zaviyar and bilal, this line will be said by humsha i think.

my theory is humsha marries faraz because she realizes she can never have bilal. so she settles for faraz even if she doesn't love him. after a time jump of a few months, she meets sadaf and comes clean to her about how she lied to sadaf about bilal. she'll confess to sadaf that she was manipulating her because she loved bilal. phir humsha will say that after marrying faraz she is happy in her shadi shuda life and realizes how wrong and toxic her love for bilal was.

Yeah looking at the descriptions and teasers it was clear that it won't be simple love story based on chemistry....there are many characters and everyone will have their roles to play....but Wahaj has been overpromoted as the face of this show (though he has the best dialogues) this marketing went wrong.
