Among his contemporaries, is Wahaj the only one who has worked with KRQ ? I think Ahad, Bilal or Feroze are yet to do a KRQ script.

Although KRQ has said in an iv before that Feroze is his favourite actor

I am sorry to say but most of his shows were boring only..be it mann mayal,alif or jannat se aagey or that ahad sajal show. In that terms siraj ul haq is better because he can make a regressive drama look interesting.

Bilal and Sadafs romance couldn't bring the audience even when the show started . It had a trps of 5.6 for its 1st episode !! Back then the promotions were only based on Wahaj and Maya, not anyone else.

Romance of bilal sadaf was never there in this whole drama..feelings from Bilal's side was there but that's not romance lol.

And there was one episode where Bilal Sadaf came to face to face in mirza house and trps were almost 8 I remember..it must be epi 14 I guess.

I am talking about the first week. Back then the show was promoted only as Bilal and Sadaf's love story, no one knew the story . It wasn't enough to draw audiences.

Did anyone listen to the space on SMD on X? I had no idea they do this. It was long but interesting. I agreed with a lot of what they said . They were frustrated with the episodes too but they go through them well and analyze.

The pace issue was discussed. They think it’s more in editing and the channel for extending the episodes. Then they settled on Haseeb being the kind of director that has a calm, slow vibe but that combined with KRQ’s long winded and repetitive dialogue and the channel insisting on extending amounted to this basically. It’s the perfect storm to create a super slow pace. What I don’t get is if the ratings aren’t good, why is the channel trying to extend it? Wouldn’t they just want to end it? My only guess is they make a decent amount of money on YouTube views and are banking on that. They should move the episodes along faster for that or those will plunge further.

They had similar thoughts to how I felt about Usama. He isn’t a bad actor and I think his character has actually been consistent. I can’t always blame him if they extend his scenes to the point that you don’t want to see his face anymore. The problem also is that he just doesn’t have it in him to carry such mundane scenes…most people don’t. But like these viewers pointed out, he has limited range and is very monotone and it makes the scenes feel even longer. I think he would be fine in normal paced scenes where there is a lot going on.

They had some theories that that maybe rumours will start between Bilal and Sadaf and Ammar will eventually divorce her. Farzana will insist that Bilal marry her and I guess love will develop after that. I feel like if that was the story, it should have happened a long time ago. It feels too late in the game now. Any thoughts?
