But in current running dramas it’s almost getting top views sometimes or almost same and second next to top views . But yes its mainly because of actors name. People dont like that level of sadness and slow pace else it would have got still more views even with weak script. Seems channel is making two episodes form 1 by adding delay.

yes its my type too. Im even ok with philosophical dialogues in all situations as I feel thats different and entertaining rather than usual and it’s not really easy to write some really philosophical and poetical dialogues . Problem is pace which itritates, geo has made two episode from one by adding thats delay in between as they know People will watch for Wahaj. And one more is so much less screen time of wahaj which is the main character we wanna see and very less scenes of Sadaf and Bilal. And overly exaggerated Ammar and Dania track. Writer at least at begining had to add around 6 to 8 episodes when Sadaf had got convinced Bilal is good person and gentlemen before separating them. And rather than sadaf misundestanding bilal it should have been like sadaf mother should have not agreed when sadaf says she loves bilal as she is worried for her daughter looking at Bilal past as definately parents will think, eventhough he did a lot she may think like what he falls back to his worst habits, and maybe later sadaf convincing and actually shown marriage episodes of Bilal ans Sadaf bit on marriage day some random girl accusing bilal for something and due to this sadaf mother doesnt belive Bilal and for future of her daughter convincing sadaf to marry ammar and later ammar would have married but in his mind its like she rejected him and loved Bilal for money and hence doing affair with Dania. The drama actually could have been blockbuster, just because of weak plot its boring.

They had many ways to make the drama interesting but they had to show entire journey of sadaf from someone who is dumb immature to worldly wise who understands relationships...its basically journey of sadaf and other characters...family members doesn't play a big role in separating the hero-heroine..its basically a story of sadaf and how she realizes and understands true love is..

The show could have been interesting in so many ways but than the characters journey and their growth wouldn’t have been possible.

Bilal-Sadaf love story will be towards the end and that's the saddest part because I like maya wahaj together...right now,the entire dynamics between sadaf-ammar-dania is not interesting but I feel somewhat realistic..like I have seen this is in real life.

bismil as its almost ending episodes but still almost same as SMD

The problem is whatever has been shown till now could have been wrapped up in max to max 15 episodes but its almost going to be 30 epis, the story still feels stuck...this show is a binge watch material tbh...if we keep waiting for it weekly,people would just get frustrated

smd went from being #1 for yt views on Thu to #2 and now at #3. Ae Dil was an opportunity to increase TRPs by a big margin (the way MSM did). but these tactics are making them lose viewers, and most importantly, izzat.

smd is beginning to look more and more like a money laundering scheme. like how producers would make films that are designed to be flops to make black money white and then get a tax write-off.

At this point even bilal sadaf romance wont be able to bring the audience back..the episodes are lacklustre and a borefest.

people were interested in watching a wahaj-led drama where his character is at the center.

even a well-written story which tells the journey of sadaf played by Maya would have flopped if if it was marketed accurately.

i feel cheated, i had zero interest in watching a drama led by Maya and centered around her character,

the direction and editing has made it into a bore. the story had potential to be a guilty pleasure with the right direction and treatment, even if the writing had loopholes. it's like hiring shyam benegal to make pushpa 2.

I agree with this...whatever be the script,if the director and channel had proper vision,then everything could have balanced out...Haseeb works well only if writing is good like umera ahmed but with this kind of script,he really didn't do enough justice

The way Sadaf's character is written..nobody would be interested in her character journey..infact no one is interested in any character 's journey except Wahaj..its really unfortunate but the entire marketing strategy about Wahaj-led drama and chemistry has totally gone wrong...

I understand what's the story all about but they clearly lacked the vision of understanding the sentiments of today's audience..the present audience is global (not only Pakistanis) and they watch shows for entertainment not for moral lessons...if possible they could have balanced moralities and entertainment together but they really failed in this dept..that's why after every episode I get frustrated even if the episodes are not exactly bad.

Sometimes I actually feel that the backlash he show is facing is justified..so that producers in future never market any show with actors name and for chemistry sake..
