Tandav Loves Shreshta who is a young, pampered girl. Runs an extra-marital affair with her. Tandav is married to Bhagya (who is a typical, less literate housewife) and has 2 kids.

What was different was that Kusuma the mother-in-law is Bhagya's biggest support who stands by her. The father-in-law and other family members recognise the wrongdoing and expel him from their lives.

ALL was well. But now, to bring in unnecessary drama, they have got Shreshta and Bhagya under the same roof, only to compare how good a homemaker Bhagya is and how incompetent Shreshta.

This is plain WRONG.

1. Why does Bhagya still want to stay married is beyond my understanding.

2. Why do we have to compare the home making competencies of Bhagya and Shreshta? They are different individuals with different priorities in life and they shouldn't be compared.

3. Why do both Shreshta and Bhagya have to stay under the same roof?

4. Both Tandav and Shreshta were involved in the affair and Tandav loved the "seemingly" modern Shreshta. He was unhappy in the marriage. So much so, that he cheated on his wife. He should have to pay for it but why do the families, especially kids, need to see drama everyday?

What are they trying to prove?

Wouldn't it have been better if:

1. Bhagya would have left with the kids to her mother's house and started a new life, a new career while still being cordial with her in-laws. But she chooses to stay clear of Tandav-Shreshta's married life.

2. The in-laws realise that first they imposed their will in the choice of bride for their son but now they accept Shreshta as their son's choice. They may well choose to stay away from their son for his betrayal.

In a day and age where both spouses are working, the expectation from the daughter-in-law to single-handedly shoulder the responsibility of running the family, itself is WRONG.

If they can afford, taking househelp is NOT WRONG.

Bhagya was a housewife and was happy dedicating her life within the family alone. Shreshta is a working girl, she has had a career.

Infidelity is WRONG, NO TWO WAYS ABOUT IT. The messaging here is WRONG too.

Neither should Kusuma expect Shreshta to be like Bhagya nor should Bhagya and her family and friends meddle with Tandav, Shreshta and "their" family.
