I dont know what's happening...at least I have lost interest..because they story seems to be stuck at one place...we already know that bilal has feelings for sadaf and he is a gentleman..bhai ab iss cheez se thoda aage badho

Most probably Sadaf will back out from lahore project and Bilal will get angry and scold Sadaf and ask her to resign...but she will not resign and go ahead with the project

In itv the show goes on, and they keep shooting for months and years so they get payment on the basis of per episode and not per day of shoot.

The show would have made sense if Bilal and Sadaf were not the endgame. KRQ doesn’t believe in one sided love and he could have proved that by showing Bilal not getting her even after everything. At this stage everyone is struggling to root for them together.

I wont blame the audience if they rated them worst chemistry because bilal and sadaf are two polar opposite characters..its really difficult to root for them...that's why I was saying once that until and unless Sadaf understands and realizes the value of true love and starts understanding Bilal..people wont be able to ship them..but the buildup is so slow..just imagine they had a proper normal boss employee conversation for the first time in epi 25

I wanna know how are the actors paid in pak. Is it on the basis of the number days shot for the show or the number of episodes of the show? In india mostly for the leads, the payment is on the basis of per episode. Actors like Harshad Chopda took 3L inr for one episode, Rupali Ganguly must be taking home a whopping 4.5 to 5 lakh inr for one epi and her show is a trp topper.

If wahaj is getting 5L INR for one day and assuming he has shot for like only 40 days for smd. Whereas usama might get anywhere around 1.5 or 2L INR for 80 days he shot. So wahaj gets 2cr inr and usama gets 1.6cr inr (80x2) or 1.2 cr inr(80x1.5) for smd. Just 40 or 80 lakh inr more he gets from usama.

Wahaj had a pay hike after the success of TB. Since SMD was the first show he signed post-TB, it would've been his highest paycheck by default. Even if Wahaj had signed an ARY drama or a Green drama after TB, it would have been his highest paycheck by default.

I find it hard to believe the pay scales differ so much by project. I mean the base rate here. If an actor charges a base rate of 10 lakh per episode in ITV, I assume they will have the same base rate whether it is an Ekta soap, a Gul soap, a soap on Zee, or Sony. Do people think Ayeza charged a lower base rate for Mein (ARY) than Humraaz (Geo)? Or that Danish's base rate was less for Shair (ARY) than Mann Mast Malang (Geo)?

From what I hear, actors are paid by episode on PTV, but the pay question is not even relevant here. Do people think Wahaj is that highly paid? I bet Danish, Feroze, Ayeza, Humayun, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Fahad Mustafa, Mahira, Mehwish are paid more. I won't be surprised if even Hania and Ahad get paid more. How come so many others can get paid more than Wahaj, yet still manage to do dramas where the stories are centered on them and have ample screen time?

I mean even look at Geo. Fees for Ayeza+Feroze or Dure+Ferzoe would be more than double the fees for Wahaj, but how come Kaddu can spend the money to get 100% of their time but with Wahaj, he only has money to pay for 50% of his time? Besides, the issue with SMD is not that Wahaj's scenes are cut. SMD is just not a BA-centric story. On paper, it is an ensemble led by Maya. Marketing it as a BA-centric story or adding filler scenes, beauty shots and ramp walks of Wahaj will not make it a BA-centric story or Wahaj the main character.

Jab Ali Raza ko Noor Jahan main side character #5 karne ke baad itne scripts aye the ke he could reject 16 of them before doing Iqtidar, Wahaj ko toh 160 scripts aye honge after TB. Am I to believe none were ML-centric roles, had worse writing than SMD, or had less scope than BA? Would no other PH except 7th Sky pay him his fees even though those other PHs regularly work with actors who are more expensive than Wahaj?

Wahaj should explain his selection process. Is there some medical or family issue that prevents him from working long hours or multiple days? In 2024, he did not even do that many ads or PS. His shooting time for SMD in 2024 was also less (most of it he finished in Nov-Dec). So, from where we sit, he was idling in Lahore for 80% of the year in 2024. Doing what exactly?

It is per episode from what I hear. One thing actors (and writers) complain about is that they still get paid by # of episodes in the script, but the PH drags the drama and pad up # of episodes. However, actors do not get paid for this.

Like Nooran still would have gotten paid for the 28 episodes which was the script she submitted. Geo made 58 episodes out of it but she won't get paid for 28 episodes only.

I have been always saying that Wahaj has been in the business for quite some time, he knew his shooting time is least among the cast. Obviously it will result in least screen time. He has signed up for this. BA might look a solid character on paper but director/actor both knew that they have not shot enough to bring in life in that character.

Girls the last 5 pages have been 100 times more entertaining than whole show was till now !

If he was lazy how did he work for 8 years doing multiple projects ya phir yeh laziness 2024 main naazil hui. In 2022, he did TB, MPTH and Pink Shirt simultaneously, His laziness was not an issue in 8 out of 9 years of his career but is an issue now. Doesn't add up. Wahaj mazak main self-deprecating way main bohat bakwas karta hai. Smeone who's lazy would have been lazy in all 9 out 9 years of their career.
