I donât know how it works with Pak shows but for Hollywood shows, you are paid per episode regardless whether you are in it or not if your name is in the opening credits. You negotiate your pay per episode and your negotiating power would depend on your stardom and your pull. First name to appear in credits is usually top billing and even that is negotiated and for shows it isnât necessarily the one that gets the most screen time but the one that is drawing in the audience and is used most for marketing purposes. I wanna know how are the actors paid in pak. Is it on the basis of the number days shot for the show or the number of episodes of the show? In india mostly for the leads, the payment is on the basis of per episode. Actors like Harshad Chopda took 3L inr for one episode, Rupali Ganguly must be taking home a whopping 4.5 to 5 lakh inr for one epi and her show is a trp topper.
If wahaj is getting 5L INR for one day and assuming he has shot for like only 40 days for smd. Whereas usama might get anywhere around 1.5 or 2L INR for 80 days he shot. So wahaj gets 2cr inr and usama gets 1.6cr inr (80x2) or 1.2 cr inr(80x1.5) for smd. Just 40 or 80 lakh inr more he gets from usama.

It seems like we are not getting bilal sadaf anytime soon...and everything will be in the last episode..I am not interested anymore tbh..Wahaj's character is stuck ...and other characters are not interesting to watch..

Ya that's why I asked hypno on what basis payments are done in pak. Because the shoot days are more and the episode number are less.
In itv the show goes on, and they keep shooting for months and years so they get payment on the basis of per episode and not per day of shoot.

The problem with the show is -if Sadaf takes one step forward she takes 100 steps backwards..I mean she took the right decision of going away from ammar but now she will mess up again in the precap...Matlab how will this show move forward than...everything feels so stuck..and that's why its coming across as frustrating.

The show would have made sense if Bilal and Sadaf were not the endgame. KRQ doesnât believe in one sided love and he could have proved that by showing Bilal not getting her even after everything. At this stage everyone is struggling to root for them together.
I feel she will be back and forth a bit. I didnât expect a divorce to go through this quickly especially considering the pace. I just want some interaction between the leadsâŠnot just a minute or two. I want them to form a bondâŠeven if that means that they fight along the way.
