Did Bilal emphasize his friendship with Zaviyaar to hint to Sadaf that he tells him things, about Sadaf specifically? Maybe he’s trying to tell her he knows not all is well

But if people aren’t watching and want it to be replaced with something else then how do they know it doesn’t make any sense? I know and accept the issues in the show but there’s something about it or I wouldn’t be watching. I don’t watch the reviews and I suspect others who are watching the show stopped too. When I peek at the comments, most are filled with people saying they don’t watch the show but love watching the reviews but yet they have an opinion, The reviewers are getting good views for SMD reviews so obviously they want to justify reviewing a show that they find a waste of time…popular demand, a favour they are doing for the audience.

There are problems with the show but it isn’t the first show to have issues, it’s the just the only one garnering so much attention for it.

hate watching is a thing. or like watching a trainwreck. as someone in smd cs on yt says every week dekha bhi nahi jaata or dekhe baghair raha bhi nahi jaata.

the thing is when other shows have issues, it's one two or three things. many dramas are misogynistic with bad dialogues but they make up for it by being fast paced and entertaining. kuch main acting bohat buri hoti hai but story entertaining hoti hai. kuch main direction buri hoti hai but acting or story hooks you. I'm someone who watched shiddat and mannat murad and many super toxic shows till the end. those shows did drag at certain points but there was a good chunk where there was something entertaining in them or that kept you hooked. even dil e nadaan i can watch at 1x speed and amar is truly really bad there. here everything that can go wrong has gone wrong. generally, those shows that are sooo bad on every dimension are not mega signature shows with big promotions and star cast and a big name director.

i believe the direction is the biggest culprit here (more than the story). Like today's scene, after Ammar yells Sadaf's name when she is sleeping. Sadaf's reaction where she is shown to be breathing heavily went on for 35 seconds (with no dialogues intercutting it). Itna toh real time main bhi saans na chadhe if someone wakes you up with a yell. all that scene served to amplify was maya's acting. if that reaction of sadaf was 5 seconds long, no one would have thought maya is overacting, but when that reaction goes on for 35 seconds, it starts to look like extreme overacting.

For the performances and all,I would blame the director...all the actors have acted OTT which cant be a coincidence because they are established actors..its the direction definitely

100% direction fault hai. even saba hameed ggoes ott and she is a seasoned actress. but other than asking directors to act ott, there are many other ways in which the direction makes the acting look overacting and ott.

i said this in previous post too but after ammar yells at sadaf, her reaction where she is breathing heavily goes on for 35 seconds (with no dialogue or camera pan to intercut it).if that reaction shot was 5 seconds long, no one would have that may was overacting but when the scene of maya doing extra promax heavy breathing goes on for 35 seconds, it looks like overacting. by stretching actors ke reaction shots for so long, it's is making their acting look bad. extreme emotions ko itna lamba nahi khenchte. when you prolong it for minutes, it looks awful.

the second is tonal inconsistency. this is a drama which is very contrived, artificial and melodramtic. then in the fight scene between ammar and sadaf, you ask the actors to go raw and animalistic and all grunt-y, that acting doesn't fit the tone of the show. because the tone of your show is not gritty and raw and earthy. in a different show which is gritty and raw and earthy, this acting of a couple fighting would work, but in a show like this, it seems out of place and overacting.

Did this scene come already? I don’t remember this look of bilal with zaviyar.
