It could be both the things, first he probably doesn't want his daughter to be dragged into the BB mess given that he's so private about his life, also the BB fandoms are vicious so it's better to be careful.
Second, it might cause his emotional breakdown. Bahut mushkil ho jayega uske liye to let his daughter go.
