Completely agreed…I have seen Hiba in Tere Sheher main and she was young but still quite decently good in that show… I had only seen very little though but every itv female lead is saddled with mediocre character traits so not much going for them overall

Yet In Jhanak, there were hues to her character that the story seemed to indicate but apart from the 200 odd episodes it started being used largely for expediency… her only role being to mouth stupid dialogues lacking any real depth..

For instance, during the tumour track, when she reached out to Ani and when she sent him back to BH was one of the worst tracks when the character needed to peak…but the track felt so flat .. I would have blamed the acting chops if I felt she couldn’t deliver but having seen her in other impactful scenes… I have to lay the blame more in the way the screenplay was laid out, the urge to convey that she was mahaan overtook the actual essence of her character. …her struggle with her dilemma and her actual desires that she was dumbing down. Again the contrast from what she did without understanding post Kashmir and what she did with understanding post tumour track wasn’t understood by much of the audience because everything about the screenplay was largely gimmicky.. in contrast, the screenplay was razor sharp on Krushal’s side and therefore Ani was better understood, the reckless Ani post Kashmir to the mellow defeated Ani post tumour in how he received J’s rejection. Pity… during those scenes.. I so wanted to take the script and wanted to write a few scenes 🙈🙈🙈😂😂😂😂 As they say chalo chodo!!

That's the reason for their downfall. They were following a good script that were only focused on runak . But that's the point ....they were not able to handle this achievement. For the first 200 episodes arshi was always in the background, always a second thought for Ani that's why they were able to connect with audience through runak and how they'll overcome everything to be together. But than rc suddenly became an important Part of this story when all this time she was on the sidelines crying about her fiance....aag track made her more important for Ani. To take responsibility of hers ....and from there it went downhill. They made it a forced love triangle with Ani as a punching bag. Hence they lost their charm. And during Aag track the trps were stable so they thought ki viewers are loving Runak separation and Jhanak udaan and thereon they keep doing the multiple separations back to back and try to force Arshi more in Ani's life but they didn't able to understand the core concept of why trp was stable during aag track...that was first separation track and Jhanak career journey was focused....people really thought ki at the end Arshi will be defeated finally and Jhanak will become successful

And most importantly, back to back mahasaptah promos of Runak meeting again toh viewers ke lye bhut exciting tha ki when they'll meet and how things will turn for them...kuch acha progress hoga but makers literally killed all the emotional connection of Runak that were the highlight of their bond in initial 200 episodes

But fir bhi viewers ne apna patience bnakr rkha until that stupid naya mod Arshi violation act...bs whn trp aunties ne hath khade krdiye 🤣

That's true. First separation track always works coz it's kind of the high point of the show . Uske baad sirf tab chalta hai when they are reunited for sometime.....yaha to it's only back to back separation without any point. Lol I remember same kind of 1 month seperation happened in my last show before imlie. That too after 1 year .....leads were separated for 1 month and finally FL came to know that PL is actually a murderer who is carrying someone's else child but trying to trap the hero with bechari act. She faked her memory loss phir se uski biwi banke chali gayi lol and trp skyrocketed making it at 4th position. After that they seperated them only for the last track ....it was also gaining good trps but ekta decided to end it as there's no point in separating leads again and again when they are so much in love it will only degrade their characters. Uski jagah pe phir se ekta ka hi show aya tha kasam that too was very popular.

Yaha toh kabhi reunite hi nahi hue ......that's why there will never be any high point now. Jab alag hi hai toh na woh seperation/reunion ka high point ayega na trp.

Leena didi gave hint in OST that they were nadiya ke kinare so i knew ki alag kafi rahenge but i didn't expect ki 400 episodes me ek baar bhi nahi milenge .. separation tracks also work coz hope hota hai audience ko for them to meet and curiosity how will they find their way back to each other..ab separation to status quo ho gyaa hai ..issue with this show is also that Runaak is only factor that is interesting in this other wise highly toxic show ..Jhanak ki individual udaans are lame and aren't interesting in themselves and no one like Ani stuck with Arshi and all that criminal gang...if Runaak are not together show falls apart ..now they have removed all hope of their coming together so reducing last bit audience interest...
