i watch on and off....may b after marriage sequence i may start watching it....

Yes.from the clips i saw he is negative.there is a politician too as a villain.

I like the leads of Ishtam Mathram. They have good chemistry and funny scenes. There is lesser hatred than in YHM. Their fathers already believe that they like each other and it was alluded to before the TV incident that Mahesh actually likes Ishitha.

Chippy is not as likeable as Ruhi. Ruhi was the X factor YHM had.

The Romi character is completely evil and not a college student but a politician. He had deceived Mahesh in some way before and he is trying to do it again. Don’t know how they will make audience like him in the future.

I like that the show is not completely a rip off of YHM and has added tracks.

I also felt that there is less hatred between malayalam ishra.In some scenes Mahesh behaves as if he likes Ishita.

Here Romi had proposed mihika in the college which Romi hadn't done in yhm.Right?sometimes they will keep him negative till the end.

I am also happy its not the complete copy of yhm.

none of the kids in yhm remakes are as adorable and magical as Ruhi.

Recently they go to the Registrar office and after being mocked out of there, they stand outside and laugh about the whole incident which is what Rajna sees. Even she is spooked by how chummy they seem. They also show Mahesh smiling secretly after his arguments with Ishitha. But we will only know after the wedding how much is made up for Chippy and how much is real.

I think Vinod will be responsible for Mihika’s MMS or something like that, just like in YHM. He honestly looks evil in general so I also think they will keep him secretly negative (from family) the whole time. I just hope they don’t get Mihika character married to Ashok in this version. I beg of them!!! It was the worst twist because yhm was so positive before that - that single twist ruined so much of the freshness of the show.

Did you see the restaurant scene?The finger scene surprised me.It was quite romantic.

They also showed that they selected each other’s choice of clothes for the wedding although they refused in front of the other party. Plus the scene before the registrar office was also sweet. Raman had serious issues because of Shagun - Mahesh is a lot more chill till now.

In some ways it’s good because IshRa charm was partly because of Raman’s one liners - Paagal Madrasan, lecture dena, nakli doctor etc etc. Difficult to copy that in Malayalam. It’s also why Ghum hai characters look more bitter as IshRa were very funny and poignant together which they lack.
