Mein was boilerplate bad drama. is type ke aur bhi dramas bure hote hain. but it had good pace and had entertainment value. the characters there were bat shit crazy and often lacked sense but at least it was enjoyable. and even though I was disappointed by Zaid and Wahaj in Mein, I liked MJ's arc, and both Ayeza and Daddy Cool turned in amazing performances. SMD has a few good Wahaj scenes here and there but that's about it. Honestly, people wouldn't have trashed SMD as much if pace was fast and performances were not so ott all the time (and lighting/filter situation was better).

Poor character aside, Maya is giving one of the worst performances by a female lead in PTV ever. Her oscar level performance last week has gone viral and being mocked everywhere .And people just don’t like Maya/Wahaj together and no number of misleading or cringe photoshoots is going to change that fact !! I have never seen an onscreen couple being so much hated

Even I said that Mein was the worst Wahaj drama ever before SMD took that title in just few months.

SH are completely wrong about the ratings and views though. May be this is Kadwani's PR but SMD's views are being regularly beaten by Iqtidaar and it's trps are in the pits.

yeh konsi PR hai where reviewers are getting paid by kaddu while calling SMD the worst drama to ever come out of ptv and trashing it right left and center matlab kuch bhi

Even in their best of 2024 video, they said that SMD is getting the views and ratings which is factually wrong

They also feel that Ammar is the actual hero of the story and all the conflicts revolve around him. Bilal would have been a side character if not played by Wahaj.

Everyone also expected that Sadaf would help Bilal to let go of his past and her love might heal him but that is also certainly not happening now. What was even the point of Bilal's backstory if that plays no part in the story ? Was it so that Humsha can misuse it ?
