I think they are trying to hold on to sindoor is only for J. What a jk this show is. The whole show started as marriage being what you accept not what you do. So do these steps or sindoor really matter? Initially they used to refer back to Runak shaadi as a given even when they denied it. Now they did not have a single dialog that said in their mind they are already married. It is like Runak marriage never happened. What a slap in the face it is.

Yep it is sat pheres and no it's not valid without sindoor but it's Leena universe she can make it a legal wedding without sindoor.....about mangalsutra only my Bengali friends can help me out but as far as I know Bengali wedding don't have mangalsutra ritual. Sindoor and shakha phola is there. But Sindoor is the most important thing in all the different hindu weddings in different regions of India.
