I can get Shanno being passive...but mehru?

The only explanation I have behind her passiveness is that Sadia's genes are finally kicking in

Yeh shanno kitna besharam hai. He was dreaming about mehru and smiling then Amal calls and he speaks like he is missing her and all then cuts the call and goes back to dreaming about mehru . Like seriously. Does he even have any consciousness of what exactly he is doing?
