Drinking and being with women are normal things that happen in life... but committing suicide is a sickness. Sadaf, being a foolish character, will face the consequences. She married a mentally ill Amaar.
But drinking and being with women out of wedlock is not permitted in Islam and not normalized in Pak…or at least they wouldn’t normalize in a drama. They just can’t. That’s why it was considered such a big sin for Bilal Abdullah. One that he felt so guilty about that he felt unworthy of Sadaf.
More than Ammar drinking, it’s the fact that he hides it. He’s always portraying to be someone he isn’t and he lied to her before marriage. And after marriage it’s never okay to stray.
100% right about how Sadaf should never have married Ammar based on the suicide attempt alone. That’s alarming.
