India earlier occupied the third spot in the WTC standings with a PCT of 57.29. South Africa, on the other hand, South Africa are currently on the top spot with a PCT of 63.33, which is followed by Australia, who have a PCT of 60.71. After the Gabba Test ended in a draw, India’s PCT went down to 55.89, while Australia’s PCT 58.89% The fourth position on the standings is currently occupied by Sri Lanka with PCT 45.45.
For India to qualify for the WTC Final, they need to win the BGT Trophy 2024-25 by a margin of 3-1. They need to win both the remaining Tests, in Melbourne and Sydney after the Brisbane Test ended in a draw. If Rohit Sharma and Co. manage to win the remaining two Tests, their PCT would stand at 60.52, which would be enough for them to seal a WTC Final
I Nishnesh not Aggree about above statment from Sports tiger if india win both test
We still not Qualify WTC final koz both SA & Aus more likely to get Nod koz they both have weaker opponents to play 2 test matches against.
If we india ended with 60.52 no way we can Qualify koz SA will reaches up to 67.16% with only 1 test win vs Pakistan, even if they loose other test vs pak, their PCT will not drops to below 61.10 pct % which help them more than india
Aus after 2 defeats vs india ( assuming 4th & 5th test ) aus could drops to 55.54% but they have 2 test coming up vs Sri lanka where both Hazelwood & Head ready 100% for them they not let SL to win any of Galle test ( both test at Galle) they will bounce back WITH more than (60.53 PCT %).
SL have 45.45% PCT. ( "aus v SA final more looks like" than SA v ind or ind vs Aus)
Travis Heat most likely not playing 4th test v india with injury concern.
Note : FOR the remaing of WTC all teams Pak / SA / ind / Aus & SL have to be careful ICC not Penellizes Championship point on SLOW OvER RATE. ( 1 over short = 1 championship point)👁️

*** For slow over-rates teams will lose one championship point for each over short.
*** ICC full members Afghanistan, Ireland and Zimbabwe are not part of the tournament
*** England and New Zealand were deducted 3 points for slow over-rate (1st Test) - 28 nov - 01 Dec
*** Pakistan were deducted 6 points for a slow over-rate (1st Test v Bangladesh)
*** Bangladesh were deducted 3 points for a slow over-rate (1st Test v Pakistan)
*** India were deducted 2 points for a slow over-rate (1st Test v South Africa)
*** Australia were deducted 10 points for a slow over-rate (4th Test v England)
*** Pakistan were deducted 2 points for a slow over-rate (1st Test v Australia)
*** England were deducted 19 points for a slow over-rate (1st, 2nd,
