Yeah. He had more hype after Suno Chanda and MH but it kind of went down.

But Farhan has been a rock star for Pakistanis for long before he was a star actor. So his aura as one of the top stars will always be there.

Both AAA and Farhan saw their hype fizzle but Wahaj ki tarah izzat or credibility ka falooda nahi nikla. Jhok Sarkar. Idiot and Nadaan were flops but not laughingstocks, and both JS and Nadaan got critical appreciation too. There's a difference between an average or good show that was a flop vs a full nonsense misogynist regressive show with pathetic writing and execution that's a flop.

I agree with this..right now his character is really one dimensional...if it remains like this till the end of the show without any focus on his backstory,than that would be a real failure..and injustice to Wahaj's character

KRQ usually writes good multilayered male characters but he has failed here too this time. SMD has to be his worst script ever.

And some of these shows you mentioned have fewer views than SMD. Do you mean that they are not giving Wahaj enough screen space. I think in spite of his limited screen time, the fact that a significant amount of people are still watching purely for Wahaj should be more telling for production here. Everyone has their limits though. To me, where leads are not together, have very limited scenes and the girl ends up marrying someone else is not a recipe for a hit. I mean there had to be some awareness from production. That isn’t what sells nowadays. Again, I don’t mind waiting but the general audience does

@bold I agree...after TB era,this kind of dramas where heroine marries someone else can't be accepted by the viewers.

I'll still stand by what I say..on the paper I dont find the story bad..its the direction and the channel.

i have been watching maya since ek nayee cindrella and aunn zara days. i used to really like osmaya. her chemistry with obi and sherry are better than her chemistry with wahaj. i also really like bilal and may in yunhi. many ppl did not like yunhi but i thought it was a really good drama. maya acting was iffy in the first few episodes but she was good e8 onwards. that drama was slow paced but not like smd. yunhi was very soothing to watch like sailiing in a boat in a river on a nice spring day.
